{"revision":"c10276e953456835cdbb1f3a60d58ae1980be353","document":{"id":10384,"path":"employee-service-management/employee-experience-foundation/manage-approval-hub-group.md","title":"Update approvals action group","bundle":null,"doc_type":null,"release":"australia","body":"\n# Update approvals action group\n\nApprovals action group provides quick access to approve or reject the requests directly from the approvals page.\n\n## Before you begin\n\nRole required: sp\\_admin or sn\\_hr\\_sp.esc\\_admin\n\n## About this task\n\nYou can use the default set of actions or customize the actions to suit your business needs.\n\n## Procedure\n\n1.  Navigate to **All** > **Employee Center** > **Action framework** > **Action Groups**.\n\n2.  Click **New** or edit an existing **Approvals action group** record.\n\n3.  Edit the **Action group name**\n\n4.  Click **Save** or **Update**.\n\n    Use the Action group m2m table to add multiple actions into a group.\n\n5.  On the **Action group M2Ms** related list, click New or update an existing record.\n\n    1.  Select the **Action** item from the available options such as **Approve** or **Reject** or [Configure actions](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/employee-experience-foundation/config-approval-hub-actions.md).\n\n    2.  Edit the **Order** of the action item.\n\n    3.  Select **Primary** to set the option as primary.\n\n    4.  Select one of the following **Action Visibility** options.\n\n        -   Visibility to Self\n        -   Visibility to Manager\n        -   Visibility to all\n        -   Visible to all except Self\n        -   User criteria: Select the user criterion from the available options.\n        -   Advanced: Define a custom visibility with the Advanced option through a script. For example, `answer = context.state.toString() === 'requested';`.\n        **Note:** The `context` is the GlideRecord parameter for the rendered action. You can modify the parameter as needed.\n\n6.  Click **Save** or **Update**.\n\n\n## Result\n\nApprovals action group is configured to perform quick actions such as **Approve** and **Reject** from the approval page.\n\n"}}
