This repository helps to identify which user must be assigned the personal data rights \\(PDR\\) request tasks.\n\n## Before you begin\n\nRole required: sn\\_grc\\_pdr.pdr\\_admin, sn\\_grc\\_pdr.pdr\\_manager\n\n## About this task\n\nA data registry provides information about the business application or business process, its owner, and the type of data it stores, such as customer data, employee data, prospect data, or ex-employee data. When a privacy data rights request is created, based on this registry or repository, the action tasks are created for the right owners.\n\n## Procedure\n\n1.  Navigate to **All** &gt; **Personal Data Rights** &gt; **Personal Data Rights Workspace** &gt; **Lists** &gt; **Data registries**.\n\n2.  Select **New**.\n\n3. Select one or more from the active data subject types configured for the application.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nAsset type\n\n</td><td>\n\nType of asset that contains the data.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nSelect asset\n\n</td><td>\n\nSpecific asset that belongs to the asset type.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nDescription\n\n</td><td>\n\nDescription of the registry.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td class=\"sub-head\" colspan=\"2\">\n\nAssignment\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nUser assignment method\n\n</td><td>\n\nAssignment rule. The choices are as follows:-   **Manually assign the user and group**: Select this option if you must manually assign a user and a group.\n-   **Choose user from selected asset record**: Select this option if you must use the user specified in the selected asset record.\n\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nGroup\n\n</td><td>\n\nGroup to which the asset belongs.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nUser\n\n</td><td>\n\nUser responsible for the PDR request.\n\n</td></tr></tbody>\n</table>4.
