For version history of the spoke, see [Redox Electronic Health Record Spoke release notes](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/r/store-release-notes/store-integrationhub-rn-redox-electronic-health-record-spoke.html).\n\n## Key features\n\nThe Redox Electronic Health Record Spoke enables a hospital, payer \\(insurance\\), or life sciences company to:\n\n- Enable interoperability with an electronic medical record \\(EMR\\) or another healthcare system by leveraging the ServiceNow Healthcare and Life Sciences data model that is based on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act \\(HIPAA\\) and the Health Level Seven International \\(HL7\\) industry standards. ## Connection and credential alias requirements\n\nIntegration Hub uses aliases to manage connection and credential information. Using an alias eliminates the need to configure multiple credentials and connection information profiles when using multiple environments. If the connection or credential information changes, you don't need to update any actions that use the connection.
