{"revision":"c10276e953456835cdbb1f3a60d58ae1980be353","document":{"id":21648,"path":"integrate-applications/integration-hub/trello-setup.md","title":"Set up the Trello spoke","bundle":null,"doc_type":null,"release":"australia","body":"\n# Set up the Trello spoke\n\nIntegrate the ServiceNow instance and Trello by creating an API key in Trello to authenticate ServiceNow requests.\n\n## Before you begin\n\n-   Request an Integration Hub subscription.\n-   Activate the Trello spoke.\n-   Role required: admin.\n\n## Generate Trello API key and token\n\nGenerate a Trello API key and token to get access to the Trello portal.\n\n### Before you begin\n\nTrello Role required: admin\n\nVerify that you have a managed user account and Atlassian admin access.\n\n### Procedure\n\n1.  Go to [Trello](https://trello.com/).\n\n2.  Log in as an enterprise admin.\n\n3.  Go to [Developer API Keys](https://trello.com/app-key).\n\n4.  Copy the API key from Personal Key on the Developer API keys page.\n\n5.  In the following link, replace \\{YourAPIKey\\} with the API key that you copied in the last step and open the link.\n\n    `https://trello.com/1/authorize?expiration=never&scope=read,write,account&response_type=token&name=ServerToken&key={YourAPIKey}`\n\n    For example, if your API key is 123xyz, then open the following link- `https://trello.com/1/authorize?expiration=never&scope=read,write,account&response_type=token&name=ServerToken&key=123xyz`\n\n    The MyPersonalToken page appears and asks if you want to give access to your account.\n\n6.  Select **Allow**.\n\n    An API token is generated. Copy this API token and store it securely.\n\n\n## Create a Trello connection\n\nSet up your ServiceNow instance to add the Trello API key and API token.\n\n### Before you begin\n\nServiceNow Role required: admin\n\n### Procedure\n\n1.  Log in to your ServiceNow instance.\n\n2.  Navigate to **Process Automation** > **Flow Designer**.\n\n3.  Select the **Connections** tab.\n\n4.  Locate the Trello Alias connection alias and select **View Details**.\n\n5.  Configure the Trello spoke.\n\n    -   If you’re configuring the spoke for the first time, select **Configure**.\n    -   If you aren't configuring the spoke for the first time, select **Edit**.\n6.  On the form, fill in the fields.\n\n    |Field|Description|\n    |-----|-----------|\n    |Connection Name|Name to identify the connection record.|\n    |Connection URL|Enter the URL as `https://api.trello.com/`.|\n    |API Key|The API key that you copied from the Trello portal.|\n    |API Token|The API token that you copied from the Trello portal.|\n\n7.  Select **Configure Connection**.\n\n\n"}}
