Navigate to **All** &gt; **Cost** &gt; **Costs**.\n\n2.  Create or edit a record \\(see table for details\\).\n\n<table id=\"simpletable_ekz_2ss_qq\"><thead><tr><th>\n\nField\n\n</th><th>\n\nInput Value\n\n</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>\n\nName\n\n</td><td>\n\nString field summarizing the purpose of the rate card.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nTable\n\n</td><td>\n\nWhich type of tasks the rate card applies to.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nOrder\n\n</td><td>\n\nIf more than one task rate card apply to the same task, the one with the lowest order is used.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nActive\n\n</td><td>\n\nCheck box which determines if the rate card will be actively used.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nSummary type\n\n</td><td>\n\nHigh-level type of expense for easier summary reports. This value will be used to set the expense line summary type field.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nCondition\n\n</td><td>\n\nFilter to run on the table selected to determine whether this rate card applies to a given task. This field uses the Condition Count Widget to preview what records would be returned by the conditions.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nTask rate\n\n</td><td>\n\nRate of the task, with a currency list. To add a new currency, use the **Edit** link.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nUse time worked\n\n</td><td>\n\nBy default a flat rate per task is defined in the rate card. Selecting the check box will force the rule to calculate the task cost based on the related task time worked entries.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td>\n\nDefault labor rate\n\n</td><td>\n\nDefines the default hourly rate to apply to the time worked entries if the worker does not have a labor rate card.
