Users can scan barcodes without leaving the scanning interface when you configure a grouped input. You can configure grouped inputs on buttons to accept multiple barcode scans.\n\n## Before you begin\n\nRole required: admin\n\n## Procedure\n\n1.  In the application navigator, enter `sys_sg_button` to open a list of mobile functions.\n\n2.  Open the record for the button where you want to include multi-scan functionality.\n\n3.  Click the **Grouped Inputs** tab on the form to display the grouped inputs list.\n\n4.  Click **New**.\n\n5.  On the form, fill in the fields.\n\n    |Field|Description|\n    |-----|-----------|\n    |Name|Name of your grouped input. Because this name is used in scripts, do not include spaces in names.|\n    |Label|Label to describe your grouped input. You may use spaces in your label.|\n    |Source|Source for the grouped input. Select **Button**.|\n    |Button|Button used for the grouped input. The **Button** field appears after you select **Button** in the **Source** field.|\n    |Order|Order value for your grouped input.|\n    |Mandatory|Field that you enable to require that at least one value is entered for this input.|\n    |Multiple entries|Ability to scan multiple entries.|\n    |Max entries|Maximum number of entries for this input. Enter `0` for an unlimited number of entries.
