{"revision":"c10276e953456835cdbb1f3a60d58ae1980be353","document":{"id":39950,"path":"platform-administration/table-administration-and-data-management/submit-time-sheet.md","title":"Submit a time sheet","bundle":null,"doc_type":null,"release":"australia","body":"\n# Submit a time sheet\n\nOnce the time sheet is updated with time worked, you can submit the time sheet for the week to submit all the time cards for the week together.\n\n## Before you begin\n\nRole required: timecard\\_user\n\n## About this task\n\nWhen a user submits a time sheet, the [time sheet policy](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/platform-administration/table-administration-and-data-management/time-sheet-policies.md) assigned to the user is used for validation. If there is no time sheet policy assigned to the user, the default time sheet policy is used. Business rules prevent a user from submitting a time sheet in case any violation is found.\n\n**Note:** You can also perform this task from the [Time Sheet Portal](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/platform-administration/table-administration-and-data-management/submit-timesheet-workerportal.md).\n\n## Procedure\n\n1.  Navigate to the time sheet using one of the following options:\n\n    -   To submit a time sheet in the Pending state, navigate to**Time Sheets** > **My Time Sheets** > **Pending**.\n    -   To submit the time sheet for the current week, navigate to **Time Sheets** > **My Time Sheets** > **Current Time Sheet**.\n    -   To submit a time sheet in the Rejected state, **Time Sheets** > **My Time Sheets** > **Rejected**. You can make required changes as suggested in the rejection comments to resubmit a rejected time sheet.\n2.  To submit in the Time Sheets list, open the time sheet.\n\n3.  Add comments, if required.\n\n4.
