{"revision":"c10276e953456835cdbb1f3a60d58ae1980be353","document":{"id":41988,"path":"platform-user-interface/adoption-services/create-guided-setup.md","title":"Create a Guided Setup","bundle":null,"doc_type":null,"release":"australia","body":"\n# Create a Guided Setup\n\nCreate a Guided Setup to assist users with planning the roll-out of a product and performing the basic configurations to go live.\n\n## Before you begin\n\nRole required: sn\\_help\\_setup\\_admin or sn\\_help\\_setup\\_player\n\nThe Guided Setup builder is supported by the Process Automation Designer.\n\n## Procedure\n\n1.  Navigate to **All** > **Adoption Services** > **Guided Setup**.\n\n2.  Select the **Build your guided setups** tab.\n\n3.  Select **Create new**.\n\n4.  Select **Get started**.\n\n5.  Fill in the form.\n\n    |Field|Definition|\n    |-----|----------|\n    |Name|The name of your guided setup.|\n    |Description|Describe the purpose of this guided setup.|\n    |User roles|Roles required to access the guided setup.|\n\n6.  Select **Continue**.\n\n7.  To add a stage to your Guided Setup, select **Board view** do the following:\n\n    1.  Select **Add stage**.\n\n    2.  Fill in the form.\n\n        -   Label\n        -   Description\n        -   Start rule\n            -   When the process starts\n            -   After specific stages\n    3.  Select **Save and close**.\n\n    4.  After creating your stages, select **Add activity**.\n\n    5.  Select **Guided Setup** and one of the following activities:\n\n        -   External links - Shows a list of external links such as docs and videos in the playbook UI.\n        -   Iframe - Embed any page inside an iframe using a page url.\n        -   Plugin Install - Installs a list of plugins from the provided plugin query.\n        \\[Omitted image \"guided-setup-add-activity-1.png\"\\] Alt text: Add activity pop up.\n\n    6.  Fill in the form.\n\n    7.  In the Details tab, fill in\n\n        -   Label\n        -   Description\n        -   Start Rule\n        -   Select **Show additional options**\n            -   Playbook display order\n            -   Start with delay\n            -   Run condition\n            -   Restart rules\n    8.  In the Automation tab, fill in\n\n        -   For Iframe activity: Add URL\n        -   For External Links activity: Add External links\n        -   For Plugin Install activity: Add Plugin query\n        -   select **Show additional options**\n            -   Assigned to\n            -   Assignment group\n            -   Wait for user input\n    9.  In the UI Layout tab, fill in\n\n        -   Select **Show additional options**\n        -   associated\\_table\n        -   associated\\_record\n        -   experience\\_status\\_table\n        -   experience\\_status\\_record\n        -   title\n        -   description\n        -   icon\n        -   footer\n        -   tagline\n    10. Select **Save and close**.\n\n    11. Select **Activate** and then **Finalize** when you're complete with configuring your stages.\n\n    12. Select the check box and **Continue**.\n\n    13. Create an optional pre-setup checklist and select **Finalize**.\n\n        For example:\n\n        -   Image for header\n        -   Content for company description\n        -   Company logo\n8.  To delete a stage or activity, do the following:\n\n    1.  To delete a stage, select the more actions menu \\[Omitted image \"guided-setup-more-actions.png\"\\] Alt text: More actions icon on your stage.\n\n        -   Configure stage\n        -   Add stage before\n        -   Add stage after\n        -   Delete stage\n    2.  To delete an activity, select the more actions menu \\[Omitted image \"guided-setup-more-actions.png\"\\] Alt text: More actions icon on an activity.\n\n        -   Configure activity\n        -   Configure subflow in Flow Designer\n        -   Move activity\n        -   Delete activity\n\n"}}
