Publishing and retiring articles in Knowledge Management will follow the flow designer framework.\n\nFor new users, the **Publish flow** and **Retire flow** fields are mandatory in the Knowledge Base form. The Workflow fields for publishing and retiring articles are not available to new users.\n\nExisting users of Knowledge Management upgrading to Zurich will have access to both the models in the Knowledge Base form. However, they will be able to use only one of the models for a knowledge base, with Workflow being the default option. Also, these fields are not mandatory.\n\n**Related topics**  \n\n\n[Knowledge workflows](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/servicenow-platform/knowledge-management/r_KnowledgeWorkflows.md)\n\n"}}
