{"revision":"c10276e953456835cdbb1f3a60d58ae1980be353","document":{"id":47983,"path":"servicenow-platform/live-feed/t_SetUpTableNotifNonTaskTables.md","title":"Set up table notifications for non-task tables","bundle":null,"doc_type":null,"release":"australia","body":"\n# Set up table notifications for non-task tables\n\nTable notifications are supported for all task tables by default, and you can set up a table notification for any other table.\n\n## Before you begin\n\nRole required: live\\_feed\\_admin or chat\\_admin\n\n## Procedure\n\n1.  Navigate to **System Definition** > **Business Rules**.\n\n2.  Open the **Live Feed events** business rule.\n\n3.  In the Advanced section,select and copy the text in the **Script** field.\n\n4.  Click the back arrow on the top, left to exit the record and return to the Business Rules list.\n\n5.  Click **New**.\n\n6.  Enter the following values at the top of the form.\n\n    -   **Name**: Enter a name, such as `Live Feed events for my table`.\n    -   **Table**: Select the table for which you are setting up a notification.\n    -   **Active** and **Advanced**: Select these check boxes.\n7.  In the **When to run** section, enter the following values.\n\n    -   **When**: Select **before**.\n    -   **Insert**, **Update**, and **Delete**: Select the check boxes.\n8.  In the **Advanced** section, paste the script from the **Live Feed events** business rule into the script box.\n\n9.  Click **Submit**.\n\n    The **Live Feed events** business rule runs on the non-task table. It fires the **live\\_feed.update** event, which is associated with the **Live Feed Update** script action.
