The Draft version can be published to become the Current version. You can also create multiple different Draft versions from different Archived versions.\n\n## Before you begin\n\nRole required: sn\\_pace.code\\_editor\n\n## Procedure\n\n1.  Navigate to **All** &gt; **Policies** &gt; **My Policies**.\n\n    **Note:** To view all policies generated by admin/other users, navigate to **Policies** &gt; **All Policies**.\n\n2.  Click the **Policy name** for the policy that includes the version you want to edit.\n\n3.  In the Policy Details page, click the **Versions** tab.\n\n4.  Click the **Version name** that you want to edit.\n\n5. The version and revision numbering are generated automatically and cannot be modified.\n\n</td></tr><tr><td id=\"d589704e158\">\n\n**Policy Builder**\n\n</td><td>\n\nIn the Define Variables section, select Config Parameters. You can:-   Click **New** to add a new input variable. See [Create a new variable for a policy version](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/servicenow-platform/policy-as-code-engine-pace/pace-create-variable-policy-version.md) for details on adding input variables.\n-   Select an existing variable and click **Delete** to remove the variable from the list.\n\n\n</td></tr></tbody>\n</table>6.  Perform one of the following actions.\n\n    |Option|Description|\n    |------|-----------|\n    |**Save the version**|Click **Save**. The policy version is saved and the version page is refreshed.|\n    |**Publish the version**|Click **Publish Policy**. In the displayed confirmation message, click **Publish**. The policy version becomes the Current version and is used the next time the policy is invoked.|\n    |**Test your updates**|Click the **Test Playground** tab. The Test Playground page is displayed, where you can update the policy script and test your changes. Only versions that have never been used can be deleted.|\n    |**Review execution activity**|Click the **Executions** tab to review the execution activity for this version.
