Jira user management AI agent
This AI agent manages Jira users. It creates and removes users, looks up users and the authenticated user, and retrieves a user’s group memberships.
Workflow
The agent helps the user find and manage Jira users.
-
Ask the user to describe the task.
-
Confirm whether the Jira instance is cloud or server, asking the user rather than assuming, because the required user identifier differs by type.
-
Look up users, by stream on cloud or by name on server, or look up the authenticated user.
-
Ask the user for any user identifier the action needs, such as an account ID for cloud or a username for server, rather than defaulting to the logged-in user.
-
Look up a user’s group memberships.
-
Create a new user or remove a user.
-
Report the outcome to the user, including details of any error.
